The Department of Economics of the Faculty of Social Sciences is inviting applications for the position of Associate/Assistant Professor in Economics. The Department of Economics is a growing academic unit with excellent prospects whose goal is to excel in learning and research in economics. The department currently offers a wide range of courses leading to B.Soc.Sc, M.Soc.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees. Faculty members actively engage in research with particular focus on econometrics, macroeconomics, microeconomic theory, public economics, and economic growth. The department is highly recognized among universities in the region, evident by some recent ranking exercises.
