The Asia-Pacific Academy of Economics and Management and the Department of Economics, University of Macau, will organize the 2nd International Workshop on Macroeconomics and Finance: Macao and the Global Economy in Macao in September 2026.

The workshop will bring together leading researchers alongside policymakers from prominent international institutions, providing a unique platform for high-level dialogue between academia and policy. The event will be held in person.
Papers should be submitted as complete manuscripts, with extended abstracts considered only in exceptional cases. While authors may submit multiple papers, each participant can present only one paper at the conference. We will cover up to two-night accommodation in Macao for accepted papers’ presenters. Presenters should expect to cover their own travel ticket.
